EKOS Research Associates Inc. CATI ProgrammerWe require a full-time CATI/CAWI survey programmer and data analyst for our headquarters located in downtown Ottawa. EKOS uses a state-of-art collection platform called CallWeb, which marries Phone (CATI), On-line (CAWI) and IVR (interactive voice response) technologies into one console. This is a relatively niche software and as such EKOS will provide not only initial training, but ongoing on-the-job training. A firm background in CATI/CAWI programming is essential to the successful candidate, as well as experience with SPSS and Voxco's StatXP. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, an eager learner and at ease in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills, knowledge and familiarity with statistics/modeling and experience in report writing are considered definite assets.
ConsultantWe require a Consultant with expertise in qualitative and/or quantitative applied social and economic research techniques. The successful candidate will have a graduate university degree in the social sciences or a related field. The successful candidate for this position will have at least three years of experience in applied research or program evaluation and strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills. Fluent bilingualism and the ability to moderate focus groups in both English and French would be assets. Quantitative Research AnalystsWe require Quantitative Research Analysts with significant knowledge of statistics and applied social and economic research techniques. The successful candidates will have a graduate university degree in the social sciences or a related field, one to three years of experience in survey research or program evaluation and the ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills are required. Fluent bilingualism and programming in SPSS, Interviewer and/or StatXP would be assets. Telephone InterviewersWe are looking for part-time telephone interviewers to work in our dynamic, state-of-the-art survey centre located in downtown Ottawa. Successful candidates must read and communicate clearly in English or French (bilingualism is an asset). Working hours are weekday evenings between 5:30 PM and 10:30 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Scheduling is flexible. Wages range from $10.00 to $14.00 per hour.
